Week 8: Final Reflections (Part Two)

Standard

The main idea of this blog was to hear your voices, so with that said, I think I should take suggestions from the viewers. Comment with what you think I should post on, but I will continue posting remixes and polls throughout the mix. I’ll also check out some of your blogs and see if I can get any ideas that way.

ย  Here were a few of my ideas for remixes (because I didn’t think of anything else to post on yet)

  • Megalovania x We are Number One
  • Revenge (CaptainSparkles x TryHard) doorbell
  • All Star doorbell
  • Shooting Stars

Week 8: Finale Reflections (Part One)

Standard

ย  Blogging is fun and I love making polls for my blog, so I might keep going. I participated in all 8 weeks of challenges, and in total I posted 13 posts (not counting this one). My blog received a grand total of 26 comments, and the post the got the most was the profile picture post. I really enjoyed the music maker post because I got to show off my megalovania doorbell remix, and I’ll keep posting music posts along with polls on this blog. My main web tools were Pixabay, Chrome Music Lab, and CrowdSignal. I probably won’t post that often on here, but I’ll likely post a remix of a song or a poll every other week. The blogging challenge was really fun, and I’ll see you in the next post.

Family Traditions

Standard

Hello readers, I hope you have a great break (if you’re about to go into break too). On that note, here is a list of the holidays celebrated by my family. I’d like to hear what your celebrating around the world!

New Years Eve/Day: The celebrate the New Year.

Valentines Day: A day to celebrate the relationships between people, also we get candy.

St. Patrick’s Day: A day to celebrate Irish culture.

Easter: (I actually didn’t know this until I searched it ๐Ÿ˜› ) A day said to be the Resurrection of Jesus and a very holy Sunday.

Pride Month: (Just me in the family, nobody else does in my house) The month of remembering the Stonewall Riots and how the LGBTQ+ got more recognition.

Halloween: A day that used to be a day of fear and hiding from spirits that evolved into the fun, candy collecting, costume wearing holiday it is now.

Thanksgiving: A day for giving thanks for everything you have, and eating lots of food.

Christmas: Believed to be Jesus’s birthday and the day Jesus died for us and came back to life (Didn’t know this either ๐Ÿ˜› ). There are also presents and food on this day.

Emoji Math!

Standard

Welcome back bloggers! Here is another fun puzzle game for you (The readers) to solve! Its like the last game, only with math instead of guessing something. Once again, the only rule is to have fun!

๐Ÿ” + ๐Ÿ” = 14 – ๐Ÿค”

๐ŸŽถ + (๐Ÿค” * 2) = 10

4.5 * 2 = ๐ŸŽถ

๐Ÿค” + ๐Ÿ” + ๐ŸŽถ = ???

Scholarly Article: What Will Education Look Like in 20 Years?

Standard

There are many factors influencing what schools may look like in 20 years: unprecedented global forces and unforeseen technologies and paradigm shifts in the ways students want to learn and teachers wantย to instruct. I predict that the future of education will require educators to be more entrepreneurial, collaborative, creative andย innovative. Additionally, learners will be even more tech savvy, demanding, confident and focused as consumers of education.

Todayโ€™s learners are digital natives. They are accustomed to getting information and meeting their needs with a click of a button in a user-friendly, personal and customizable way. Future educators will have to face the fact that students will need (and want) to learn in a flexible, personalized format โ€” for some, this may mean having a more technology-focused classroom. Students will want their learning experience to meet their interests, time constraints and academic needs.

There will be a link at the bottom of this post if you want to check it out.

So basically this article is made to inform on what education may look like in the future, and I agree with it. I actually want this to happen because if it really does, students will be able to learn at their own rate and get the special type of education that they need. Everyone is unique, so school should be unique to the student in that way.
